Triathletes in Australia will have their December race void filled as X-Tri Events will continue its history of long distance racing in Australia’s capital with the new X-Tri LDT Canberra race. The inaugural long distance X-Tri LDT Canberra triathlon will take place on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Commonwealth Park.
Previously known as the Canberra Half and the Ironman 70.3 Canberra, the new race will retain many facets of the best known triathlon in the ACT and one of the best attended throughout its 15 year history.
The X-Tri LDT Canberra triathlon will consist of a 2km Swim, 90km Bike and a 20km Run. The race brings back a fresh water swim together with a challenging three loop bike ride and an almost flat three lap run into the ultimate challenge for all athletes. The course will be similar to the ones used in the past.
Registration is currently open for the new X-Tri LDT – Canberra triathlon and will be limited to 1,250 entries, so register soon.
